Objective

The student:
- can, in an inter-professional team plan, execute, evaluate, document and report person-centered/client-centered, sustainable care in collaboration with the patient and relatives and demonstrate a reflective and ethical approach in care
- has expertise in care in various service system
- can describe what sustainable sexual and reproductive health means in promoting individual and family health
- can describe the course of normal pregnancy, the central and sustainable follow-up methods and the content of health care guidance
- can describe the course of a normal delivery and care methods
- knows the basics of following up and caring for the newly-delivered woman and the newborn during normal puerperium

The care process, decision making, ethics

Aseptics, sustainable development

Participation of patients and relatives in care

Sexual and reproductive health and its promotion (central gynecological and andrological problems in relation to reproduction, prevention, infertility)

Follow-up, health care guidance and care during normal pregnancy

Follow-up and care during normal childbirth

Emergency delivery

Follow-up and care of the woman and the healthy newborn baby in the maternity ward
