Objective

The aim of the course is to give a thorough understanding of cruise shipping organization structures and economics, on board management versus company management; employment and manning strategies; cruise shipping regulation and environmental regulation.

After completing the course the students:
- Are familiar with cruise shipping organization structures and regulation.
- Are aware of regulation and practices in the different employment practices and roles of crew and crew management in most important cruise line operators in the USA.
- Are able to determine the environmental and criminal liabilities and guidelines affecting international cruise shipping industry.

Common Advanced Professional Studies 10 ECTS and Degree Specific Advanced Professional Studies 15 ECTS have to be completed
