Objective
Know the principles of different electricity prices and tariffs and be able to make simple cost estimates.
Knowing the structure of electricity distribution networks.
Understand and be able to calculate voltage drops, overloads, short circuits and various disturbances in the electricity grid.
To be able to design conductors taking into account the permissible load, voltage drop and short-circuit resistance.
To be able to calculate the need for phase compensation.
To know the principle of different types of protection.
To know and be able to describe different grounding systems.
To be able to explain and calculate earth slopes in isolated networks.
To know the methods for inspections, checks and measurements.
