Objective
Competence objectives of the study period (course)
The student:
- is familiar with their school and department
- is able to reflect on their studies, curriculum, and the structure of the studies
- is familiar with Peppi as a tool for individual student guidance and planning
- knows about different ways of studying, learning methods and learning tools
- knows how to use Novia's information channels
- is familiar with the questions of sustainability within the field of culture from a professional point of view
- has sufficient information and communication technology skills to complete her/his studies
- is able to study individually as well as in a group

Location and time
The semester begins on Monday August 29th at 1 pm in Campus Allegro, Köpmangatan 10.
This course fills hte the first study week (Monday-Friday), detailed program will be handed out at the start of the semester. During the autumn semester there will be a few lecures. The course ends November 7th.

To pass the course the student needs to be present at de lectures Monday August 29th to Friday September 3rd and a few Monday-sessions during the autum semester (until November 7 th)

Pass: The student is well informed regarding how the UAS is structured and is independently able to navigate within the UAS functions.
