    The student
    - knows basic principles of forest machinery
    - understands the connection between ground pressure and track formation
    - has basic skills in engineering with regard to forestry machinery and other hauling equipment
    - can operate a forest machine in the field

    Basics on mechanics and hydraulics for off-road vehicles
    The design and operating principles of the harvester and forwarder
    Control files for forest machines
    Operating forest machines
