Objective

Student:
- knows basic chemical concepts such as atomic structure, molecule, ions, compounds, reduction – oxidation
- understand how the voltage level of batteries occurs during charging
- understand how ion transport takes place inside a battery during charging and discharging
- masters various definitions within battery technology and can interpret charge and discharge curves for different battery types based on the battery's chemical composition
