    Geometric and structural engineering planning of streets and roads
    Lifecycle thinking and the environmental impact of infrastructure
    Laws, norms and organizations in infrastructure

    Understands how infrastructure is related to other construction activities
    Knows different machines used when working with soil materials
    Understands in general the planning methods for and execution of street and road constructions
    Understands how society's water supply is arranged
    Knows about legislation, organizations and norms in the infra-construction field
    Assessment criteria – good (3-4)
    Understands how infrastructure is related to other construction activities and understands the factors that influence the development of traffic routes and other infrastructure
    Is familiar with various earthmoving machines and can calculate cost estimates for different types of earthmoving works
    Can state a simple road or street plan and understand different stages of work on how the street is built and maintained
    Knows about legislation, organizations and norms in the industry
    Assessment criteria – excellent (5)
    Is familiar with various forms of infrastructure and knows well the factors that influence the development of traffic routes and other infrastructure
    Is familiar with various earthmoving machines and understands how to construct cost calculations for different types of earthmoving based on drawings and models
    Can state a simple road or street plan and master different work phases how the street is built and maintained
    Knows about legislation, organizations and norms in the industry.
