The student is familiar with power calculation rules and polynomial processing rules. The student is able to solve simple algebraic equations and groups of equations. The student is able to perform linear interpolation on table values.
Working community competence
The student is able to present the steps of algebraic problem solving both in written and oral form. The student masters the graphical representation of a mathematical model. The student is able to work in different groups and also to lead the group in their efforts to find solutions to algebraic problems.
Quality management competence
The student is able to evaluate the accuracy of mathematical calculations with both approximate methods and accurate calculations. The student is able to evaluate the error in various measurements and to take this into account when making measurements.
