Objective

The student is able to
• use the information from scientific sources as well as analyse and present it in an appropriate way.
• participate and argue in discussions dealing with demanding subjects.
• develop a written report which is formulated according to the Novia University of Applied Sciences instructions for the final projects.

Content

Articles (or other literature) chosen by the lecturer on areas relevant for ship’s officers. The themes for the articles can vary and may include e.g. leadership, personnel administration, technical developments, risk management, business management, etc.
Seminars during which the students have specific tasks and in which they actively participate.
