    The student
    - has knowledge of the development of forest machinery
    - can calculate prices for forest machinery
    - can calculate the profitability of harvesters and forwarders
    - knows how data is sent to and from forest machinery
    - understands the connection between matrices, trunk profile and adaptation
    - knows which oil and fire fighting equipment should be available at a logging site
    - can choose appropriate hauling equipment based on the nature of the stock and the operation
