- are familiar with different forms of medication and administration.
- are familiar with different medication groups, indications, interactions and the most common side-effects. They are also able to observe and assess the effect of the medication.
- command the fundamental rules of arithmetic needed for medication dosage, and are able to administer medication flawlessly in exercises (pill dispensers/medicin tray, subcutant, intramuscular)
- are aware of their responsabilities when administering medication.
- are familiar with the concepts and terminology of pharmacology, and are knowledgeable of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
- know clinical pharmacology in a biomedical context
- have knowledge of drug therapy among the most common endemic diseases
- know various types of pain medication
- know medication used as anticoagulant therapy
