Objective
• The students have knowledge about the basics of skincare
• The students have knowledge about the anatomical structure and function of the skin
• The students are familiar with different skin types and different skin changes
• The students are familiar with the muscles of the face, neck and décolleté
• The students command product knowledge, the composition of the products and active substances within skincare
• The students command the coloring of eyelashes and eyebrows
• The students are familiar with eyelash extensions and microblading
• The students understand the importance of and follow a good industrial hygiene
• The students are aware of the profession of a cosmetologist and the practical work in the field
• The students can apply, analyze and develop an approach that promotes economical, ecological and social sustainability for product use and services

Assessment methods and criteria
The course is evaluated based on grades (0-5) for assignments (individual and team). The average of the grades for assignments form the final grade in the course. The student´s activity during the course and during the team project can raise or bring down the final grade.
