Objective
• The students are able to apply their knowledge, carry out skin analysis, plan and carry out basic treatments
• The students are able to use some movements for massage and are able to carry out easier massage techniques
• The students are able to use simple instruments within skincare
• The students can recommend care treatments for the client and give advice on self-treatment
• The students are able to do manicure and paraffin-bath for the hands
• The students are familiar with nail technology and different ways to create nails
• The students have knowledge about the aseptic techniques in skincare and follow a good industrial hygiene
• The students can apply, analyze and develop an approach that promotes economical, ecological and social sustainability for product use, treatments and services

Assessment methods and criteria
The course is evaluated based on grades (0-5) for assignments (individual and team). The average of the grades for assignments form the final grade in the course. The student´s activity during the course and during the team project can raise or bring down the final grade.
