The student:
- has knowledge of the structure and development of the welfare system.
- has knowledge of how social policy is realised in various arenas in society.
- is familiar with national and global social policy concepts, trends and challenges.
Content
- the central concepts of social policy, welfare models and subfields
- the historical development of the welfare system
- the state, municipalities, the third and the private sectors as welfare actors
- strategies, trends and challenges in the welfare sector and the welfare economy
- opportunities to influence within issues related to social policy
