Lärandemål
The student will:
-prepare to implement the nursing process in acute and intensive nursing care
-obtain knowledge of nursing care for patients in pain, chock, multiple health problems and for patients with trauma or multiple injuries
-become prepared to care for patients with altered electrolyte- and fluid balance
-become prepared to support the patient and his/her family in acute and intensive nursing care situations
-be able to outline and apply the theory of intensive and emergency care to nursing and consider the specific caring needs of the patient who is critically ill, or suffers from trauma.
- demonstrate skills in assessing, implementing and evaluating the nursing process in acute and intensive nursing care settings
-become familiar with common problems in critical and acute care, and be able to implement that knowledge in simulated situations
-become familiar with the health technology of intensive and acute care settings and prepared to perform first aid in hospital settings
-be able to perform resuscitation in various settings.
Innehåll
The student will:
