Bedömningsmetoder (förverkligande) och -kriterier (studieperioder/kurser)

Assignment in three parts:

Part 1: ESSAY (3 ects)
The students write an essay about the Nordic welfare system and Social Services in Finland based on scientific articles, books, lectures, videos, events and web pages. Students must also prepare themselves for presenting and discussing the content of the essay. More information can be found on the course page on the Moodle platform.

Part 2: REPORT (4 ects)
The students participate in different lectures and workshops of various topics and write a report based on the content. The report must also include academic sources to deepen the knowledge of what has been said/experienced during the lectures and workshops. In the last part of the report, students reflect on their own professional development. Dates for lectures and workshops, check schedule in Peppi/Tuudo (Exchange-SS).

Part 3: STUDY VISITS (3 ects):
The students participate in 3 different study visits in the area of social work and get familiar with services, support and best practice. Before the study visits students prepare themselves by reading about the place and topic and prepare questions. After the study visits students give a presentation on similarities and differences between the study visits and services/best practice in the students country of origin.

For all three parts, students will regularly meet with the responsible lecturer for supervision, discussions and presentations (see schedule in Peppi/Tuudo for exact dates: EXCHANGE-SS).
