Objective

After completing the course, the student will be able:·
Explain the basic principles of room acoustics and sound fields·
Analyze acoustic parameters in different types of rooms and understand differences in room configuration for various types of performances·
Be familiar with tools for modeling and measuring room configurations·
Be familiar with the properties of different materials and be able to design improvements for acoustic quality in various sound environments·
Assess and present acoustic solutions in writing and orally
