Lärandemål

The student:
- can produce a Bachelor Thesis project that is to be based on healthy or sick individuals and / or groups' needs or problems, alternatively evidence-based care or teaching in health care for individuals and small groups at care facilities or in the community
- can reflect on how evidence-based knowledge can be applied in care work and suggest implications for care practice
- can apply a nursing theoretical perspective in different nursing contexts
- can act as an opponent for another degree project
- can account for the most important content of the degree project in a maturity test, as well as demonstrate the ability to express oneself in writing

Innehåll

Collect and analyze data for the thesis, with consideration to the necessary ethical issues linked to the study
Describe a nursing theory
Describe methods of data analysis
Describe and discuss the nursing research
Present, discuss and defend the approved thesis at a seminar
Critically examine another thesis presented at the Thesis seminar
Carry out an approved maturity exam

Undervisningsmetoder

Increasingly independent work, with the help of a supervisor
- collect and describe background information for the study
- desribe a theoretical framework for the study
- describe methods of data analysis
- collect data for the thesis, with consideration to the necessary ethical issues linked to the study
- present the methodological part of the thesis and show examples of the results at an intermediary seminar
Lecture and seminars

Praktik- och arbetslivssamarbete

Presentation at intermediary seminar in September 2024 and presentation of the final thesis in December 2024

Approved manuscript for intermediary seminar, attendance at intermediary seminar and proved manuscript for the thesis presentation . pass/fail in the maturity exam
