Objective
The student
- is familiar with Baroque harmonics and the basics of basso continuo.
- is able to write out a bass part with numbers.
- students with cembalo as their main instrument: learning how to play an accompaniment by numbers.

Learning objectives
Students learn the basics of continuo playing and its role in baroque music. During the course, students gain basic skills in continuo playing from both the harpsichordist's and the singer's point of view. After the course, the student can play simple continuo parts together with singing.
