Objective
The student:
- has knowledge of, is able to account for and is able to assess the most common cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrinological disorders and their underlying pathophysiology, as well as care and treatment
- can account for cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrinological anatomy and physiology
- has knowledge of and can account for the medical terminology and drug treatment in cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrinological disorders
- can apply caring science, evidence-based knowledge and develop critical thinking as a basis for nursing care and care in clinical practice
- has the ability to assess the need for care in patients and can, through adequate clinical assessments, classify care needs and can prioritize and document these according to national classification systems
- can understand the importance of and integrate health promotion , health prevention and rehabilitation and apply patient-centered care
