Objective
The student:
- can solve problems with percentage change, index, inflation, deflation, and currency calculation
- is able to conduct interest rate- and VAT calculations, as well as pricing calculations
- can calculate interest rate, periodic payments, and credit with a spreadsheet programme
- is familiar with basic concepts in investment calculation and can perform investment calculations with a spreadsheet programme
- understands how optimization problems in financial mathematics are solved with spreadsheets
