Objective

The student
- understands how the market for timber and energy wood
- knows laws and regulations governing the timber trade and know key contractual issues
- can explain the different stages of the timber trade
- can conduct a tender process
- understands the pricing of timber on stump, at roadside and the pricing of special timber
- can set prices for timber and energy wood
- is familiar with digital platforms for timber trade
