Objective

The student
- knows methods for data capture and data processing for GIS analyses
- can analyse vector and raster based environmental data
- can visualise geographical information efficiently and can utilise web-based methods to disseminate it

Repetition of vector analysis
Different types of applied raster analysis
Open geographic data
Remote analysis data, its production and potential for use
Introduction to 3D analysis
Publication of geographical data, web GIS
Basics of QGIS and its analysis functions
