Objective

The student
- knows the forest type classification system
- can identify plants in the forest type classification system
- knows the classification for peatlands in natural conditions
- can identify plants for classification of peatland types

Forest type classification
Peatland classification
Identification of plants used for the forest type and peatland classification
The names of the plants in Swedish, Finnish and their scientific names
Determination of forest types / peatland types in the terrain
The course is based on several of the global sustainability goals, mainly the goal of Life on land
