Objective
Medical Nursing Care:
The student:
- can, under supervision in the inter-professional collaborative, plan, implement and assess patient-centered/client-centered ans sustainable medical nursing care
- is able to follow various evidence-based care guidelines in care planing and implement the most common methods of treatment within internal medicine
- is able to document and report
- can plan, implement and assess safe medication management
- can identify ethical problems and demonstrates an ethical approach
- takes patient and client safety into consideration and applies aseptic principles to patient care
- can care for patients with enteral and parenteral nutrition and fluid treatment
Surgical care:
The student:
- can, under supervision in the inter-professional collaborative, plan, implement and assess patient-centered/client-centered surgical care
- is able to follow various evidence-based care guidelines in care planning and implement the most common methods of treatment within surgical nursing
- is able to document and report
- can plan, implement and assess safe medication management
- can identify ethical problems and demonstrates an ethical approach
- understands the significance of patient and client safety and applies aseptic principles to patient care
- can care for patients with enteral and parenteral nutrition and fluid treatment
