Objective

The student:
- can as part of an inter-professional team plan, execute, evaluate, document and report on a person-centered/client-centered care in collaboration with the patient and relatives and demonstrate a reflective and ethical approach in care
- has expertise in mental health care and substance abuse treatment
- has expertise in care in various service environments
- can evaluate the patient's counseling needs and resources, and plan counseling and patient self-care
- knows the patient's care chain and servicesystem
- can apply knowledge about mental health and central psychiatric disorders and illnesses
- can consider how climate-related events affect mental health
- can the central evidence-based care methods used in substance abuse treatment and mental health care for patients, families and relatives
- master methods for early intervention and preventive work
