Objective

The student:
- is familiar with the service system and the interprofessional collaboration within child health
care and can apply various sustainable resource promoting models and methods both individually and in groups in the health care work
- can plan, implement and assess the follow-up of a child’s growth and development as well as support the family’s well-being
- can identify families with special needs and knows the process of referring a patient to further examinations and treatment
- can maintain and promote collaboration with the family and various stakeholders with a view
to a safe growing environment
-can implement the vaccination program
