Objective

The student:
- has knowledge of work at maternity clinics and can provide care during childbirth
- has knowledge of and is involved in the care of mother and child during puerperium at the maternity ward
- is prepared to guide and assist the mother in breastfeeding
- respects the cultural affiliation of the mother and her family
- has knowledge of safe drug therapy management

Content

Clinical practice in maternity care unit

Location and time

Supervised internship at BB, study visit to maternity clinic/lactation clinic and delivery room
Spring 2025 weeks 19-20 or 21-22 according to individual timetable or
Autumn 2025 weeks 34-35 according to individual schedule
