Objective
Student:
- starts from evidence-based knowledge in his approach
- has the skills to be able to support the expectant parents during the birth
- understands the physiology of birth
- masters care during normal birth
- has basic knowledge of fetal monitoring
- can, in collaboration with the woman giving birth, realize pain relief during childbirth
- masters basic suturing techniques
- masters documentation and reporting during childbirth
- can and understands the importance of safe working methods in maternity care

Lectures, discussions, clinical skills training, study visit to VCS/delivery room

All documents must be submitted to the teacher no later than one week after completing the internship.

The written work and the possible opponentship show something out of the ordinary (technical execution, oral presentation, mature reflections, and independent working methods)
