• The students are able to create different types of makeup for photography and film
• The students have knowledge about different products that are used and how to use them
• The students understand the importance of lighting in makeup
• The students are able to creatively carry out makeups and stage makeups
• The students are able to adjust the makeup and stage makeup for the current conditions
• The students are familiar with different preparations that can be used in stage makeup
• The students understand the importance of and follow a good industrial hygiene

Practical exercises, portfolio, demonstrations, narrative method, discussion, study visit, salon work, teamwork.

Teacher (3cr) is from working life.
Salon work with clients.

Bedömningsmetoder (förverkligande) och -kriterier (studieperioder/kurser)

The examination consists of submitted assignments / portfolio, as well as participation in practical exercises during lessons. Examination in autumn 2025. Instructions for the examination are given by each teacher at the beginning of course part.

Joint (Valeria & Jaana) course assignment:
Character, 1 cr, grade 0-5.

Valeria's part, 3cr: The examination consists of a submitted assignment, and participation during practical exercises in class, grade: 0–5.
1.Course assignment 1,5cr.
2.Participation and activity during practical exercises in class, 1,5cr.

Jaana's part 2 cr:
1. Course Assignment. Salon Work, Halloween Friday, 0,5 cr, graded Pass / Fail.
2. Activity, 0,5 cr, graded 0-5.

The course is evaluated based on grades (0-5) for assignments (individual and team) and activity. The average of the grades for assignments form the final grade in the course.

The student has not followed the instructions of the assignment and shows especially vague competences within the theme
The assignment is inadequate or lacking
The student has not participated or contributed anything during the course

The student has partly followed the instructions of the assignments and demonstrates superficial competence and basic understanding of the subject.
The content of submitted assignments are satisfactory.
