• be able to choose an artistic expression that corresponds to how they see and interpret the surrounding world, and be able to use drawing to process the results
• be able to use different tools, materials and techniques in their work
• be able to visualise their ideas
• be able to make sketches in many different environments
• be able to make use of the skills taught in the course in daily independent work
• be aware of the role of drawing in contemporary art
