Objective
Student:
- has knowledge of, is able to account for and assess the most common gastrointestinal, urological, nephrological, gynecological disorders and breast disease conditions and understand their underlying pathophysiology, as well as care and treatment
-have knowledge of early pregnancy complications, their care and treatment
- has knowledge and can account for the medical terminology and drug treatment in gastrointestinal, urological, nephrological and gynecological disorders
- can describe the physiology and anatomy of the digestive system, urinary tract, kidneys, and reproductive organs
- can apply caring science, evidence-based knowledge and develop critical thinking as a basis for nursing care and care in clinical practice
- has the ability to assess the need for nursing care in patients through adequate clinical and physiological assessments, and can prioritize and document these according to national classification systems
- can integrate health-promoting care in gastrointestinal, urological, nephrological and gynecological diseases, as well as support and guide the patient and relatives in self-care
- understands the importance of health promotion and preventive care, as well as rehabilitation in relation to gastrointestinal, urological, nephrological and gynecological disorders

The course has two parts: gynaecologic care (2 cr), urologic care (1 cr) and gastrointenstinal (2 cr)
Individual online assignment on sexuality.
Group work on cancer nursing and family planning
1 cr = 27 h. 5 cr= 135 h.
Gynaecological care: 16 h lectures, 3 h exam, 4 h individual work with sexuality assignment, 32 h individual work = 54 h
Urologisk care = 27 h
Gastroenterologic conditions: 54 h
