Objective
The aim of the course is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of performance, combustion and emissions from diesel and ottomotors, through their own laboratory measurements. After completing the course, students should have an understanding of how emissions from engines can be reduced. She will also have knowledge of electronic control systems for motors, illustrated with laboratory work on a modern engine. Finally, students should have gained experience in using modern simulation programs to analyze and optimize engine performance.
Content
- Performance Measurement
- emission measurement
- Cylinder Pressure Measurement
- Heat balance
- Engine Simulation
- Optimization
Evaluation scale
H-5
