Objective
After passing the course the student is expected to:
• Be able to identify, name the concepts used to describe reliability
• Be able to calculate key figures that describe how well maintenance works
• Be able to take into account the operational safety aspects that should be taken into account when purchasing new machines
• Be able to create service schedules for machines

• Be able to perform simple calculations in maintenance technology
• Know the relationship between maintenance and reliability
• Know about different types of maintenance and their benefits

• Be able to perform calculations in the operation and maintenance technology
• Be able to draw conclusions on appropriate type of maintenance based on operational safety requirements
• Be able to plan maintenance and safe repairs
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
• Be able to perform and teach maintenance personnel maintenance tasks
• Independently be able to perform advanced calculations in the various departments of the maintenance system
• Be able to draw conclusions if maintenance works based on measurements and data
