Objective

The student:
- can identify risks and resources in relation to addictive disorder.
- has knowledge of the legislation in substance abuse care and can guide in the substance abuse care service system.
- can apply resource-enhancing methods to individuals, families and groups.
- is able to reflect critically on ethical aspects in relation to addictive disorder and substance abuse clients.

- national and global trends
- substance abuse care legislation and forms of service
