Objective

• To fullfil the requirements of the IMO Resolution A482(XII) with reference to ARPA equipment training.
• To provide the student with the skills and knowledge in terms of managing the system of radar charts in ARPA equipment.

The course covers use of radar and ARPA to maintain safety of navigation according to Table A-II/1 of the STCW code. It also meets the recommendations of STCW B-I/12.18-35.
