Objective

The Student:
- has knowledge of the living conditions, resources, and needs of children, youths and families in everyday life
- can guide children and families in the service system
- can plan, apply, and evaluate Church activities for children and families
- can apply Church values in the work with children and families
- can work inter-professionally within Church and society

Content

- different families with children
- children's and adolescents' identity development
- service and service guidance for children, youth and families
- forms of activity for child and family work in Church
- Church early childhood education
- methods and materials in the children and family work of the Church
- respectful, culturally sensitive, and participatory support for the spiritual upbringing of families

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student demonstrates superficial competence and basic understanding of the subject

The student demonstrates a competence that is related and linked to the literature
The student can reflect and motivate from his/her point of view

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has an immerse competence and shows a deeper understanding of the subject in relation to the upcoming profession

The student possesses a basic competence in the subject / The student does not show sufficient competence in the subject

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

The student does not demonstrate the most elementary knowledge in the subject. The student shows repeated misunderstandings of the phenomena and the subject.
