Objective

From the aspects of built environment and structural design the student learns about sustainability and regenerative design.

The aim is for students to have a basic knowledge of concepts and ways of thinking about sustainability and regenerative design. The student is also familiar with up-to-date information, agreements and literature on the subject. Furthermore, the participants should anchor and concretise these issues in their own professional role and work.

The following skills are practiced:
Using appropriate sources to expand your own knowledge
Terminology in English as well as in some other language (eg. Finnish, Swedish, the mother tongue of the student)
Making clear and professional presentations
Presentation of own learning outcomes

Academic Year 2024-2025, examination dates will be agreed on between students and teachers, approximately 1 time in the autumn term and one time in the spring term.

Qualifications

A minimum of 180 ECTS at Bachelor's Level in Construction Engineering or Management
and working life experience in the relevant field of Engineering
