Objective

The student is able to solve great circle and celestial exercises using sphere trigonometric methods

Content

• Basic spherical definitions and the characteristics of spherical triangles
• Solving right-angled, isosceles and arbitrary spherical triangles
• Applications with reference to great circle sailing and celestial navigation
