Objective

• The students are familiar with internal and external beauty and body positivity and its role in the beauty industry
• The students understand how internal and external beauty affect the wellness of the client
• The students understand the significance of mental wellness, attained through exercise and mindfulness
• The students understand the significance of health, attained through healthy food and exercise
• The students are familiar with and can apply different methods of improving the clients health and wellness
• The students can apply, analyze and develop an approach that promotes social, economical and ecological sustainability for beauty ideals, body image, mental wellness, food, exercise and health

Online Studies
Two sessions in class- presentation and discussion.

Examination consists of submitted module assignments, graded (Pass/Fail). Examination in February 2026.

- The student know and understand the theory and discourse within the context of individual modules.​

- The student has the ability to identify patterns and relationships between self-image and wellness in addition to selected references.​

Criteria 3. Application ​
- The student can make practical use of techniques and / or strategies in everyday life.​
