Objective

The student:
Knows basic concepts in thermodynamics and construction technology
Can use tools to calculate energy losses and draw connections between components
Understands moisture migration and the importance of heat flow in different building components and materials
Knows basic requirements for energy efficiency
Able to analyze and evaluate structural solutions for moisture risks

Content

Basics in building physics regarding moisture and heat flow
Basic structures for floors, walls and ceilings and for various materials
Instructions for construction engineering
