Objective
The student is provided with the basic safety skills required in the STCWConvention from all persons who intend to work onboard a vessel, in accordance with STCW-Code:A-VI/1-1 and A-VI/1-4.
Content
• Maritime safety in theory and practice, equipment, safety techniques ad appliances, safety responsibilities, organization, physical and psychological preparedness, authority requirements, rescuing methods and practical exercises, and regulations for preventing environmental damages
-Contribute to the prevention of and response to violence and harassment (As defined in the ILO Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (No. 190)), including sexual harassment, bullying and sexual assault
