Objective

The student
- is familiar with forest policy in Finland and in the EU
- can account for how forests in Finland have been used in the past
- understands the connection between the origin and development of the forest industry and how the forests have been utilized during different time periods
- can account for the structure of the forest owners
- understand the goals of different forest organizations with their activities
- knows about collaboration between different organizations and actors in the forest sector.
