Objective
The student:
* knows how steel structures are planned, realised and maintained
* possesses adequate knowledge of the properties and use of structural steeland has a good command of dimensioning according to Eurocode 3 and according to the national Land Use and Building Act § 120 d and e (17.1.2014/41) normal and difficult tasks
* is also able to use building information modeling (BIM) techniques in the design phase.

The Educational Modules Introduction to Building Techniques, The Residential Building, Mathematics, Building Mechanics and the Course Mechanics of Materials 2, or similar knowledge
