Descriptions
The studies complement the Bachelor of Social Services degree with 90 credits in diaconal work and give eligibility as a deacon. The studies presuppose a previously completed Bachelor of Social Services degree.
The scope of the education is 90 credits and is realized as multi-form studies. The Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030 has been implemented in the curriculum as competences.

The curriculum has been prepared in collaboration with working life representatives and former and current students.

The studies complement the Bachelor of Social Services degree with 90 credits in diaconal work. The studies presuppose a previously completed Bachelor of Social Services degree.
The studies provide eligibility for roles in diaconal work in accordance with Decision No. 162 of the Church Council regarding the qualifications required for holders of a deacon position and for employees who perform diaconal work as their primary task.
