Objective
In demanding and exceptionally demanding structural design:
The student is able to apply
Plastics theory
Torsion
The student is able to take into account
Understands how the eccentricity of a load causes torsion on a structure and is able to determine the torsional stress of a rectangular profile
in plasticity theory, the possibility of load redistribution and the conditions for the formation of a plastic joint
The student is able to calculate and examine
determine the stress distribution according to the plasticity theory
The student is able to identify
the difference in the calculation of the elastic and plastic bending resistance
