Objective

Structural engineering expertise
The student knows the basic knowledge of the formation of soil and bedrock as well as the different composition of soil and their suitability as a building foundation. The student knows the basic knowledge of rock and rock formation and masters their working methods. Students are able to independently acquire information that develops quality management skills.
The student is able to take civil engineering as a part of a construction project and to consider their impact on project costs.

Construction Process excellence
The student is able to take into account the construction of geotechnics as part of a building project and to know how they affect the cost of the project.
The student knows the basic regulations and instructions governing the construction. The student knows the basic knowledge of rock and rock foundation and piling and knows their working methods. Students are able to independently acquire information that develops quality management skills.

The student knows the load-bearing capacity, stability and compressibility of the soil and understands their importance in construction. The student is able to take into account ground pressure and their requirements

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows well and is able to apply what he or she has learned. He / she is also able to analyze the connections between things. The student is able to make versatile analyzes and conclusions based on what he / she has learned.
