Descriptions
Within the continuing education Battery Competence 30 ECTS, the battery's journey from raw material to finished battery is covered. The chemistry that forms the basis of the battery's function and the composition and manufacture of different batteries is covered during the education. The education also covers how to use batteries as electrical energy storage and how to recycle raw materials from batteries in the final stage.

Battery Competence is a continuing education that has provided specialist knowledge in all
areas of the battery value chain:
- Raw materials and battery chemistry
- Different battery types as well as manufacturing of battery cells
- Automation and maintenance of manufacturing
- Reuse and recycling of batteries and current legislation
- Energy storage with batteries
- To operate in a multicultural activity
Objective
The aim of the studies is to provide a basic knowledge in the fields of Batterytechnology. The studies are mostly carried out via the open UAS and mainly remotely.
