The student
- understand the factors that affects horse breeds, mainly based on exterior and movement patterns
- knows the requirements that riding and trotting horses place on their surroundings, their facilities and their feeding and care
- understands the impact of the environment on a horse's conduct and can prevent problematic behaviour
- can optimise horse breeding and understands the factors that affect the profitability of horse breeding and related businesses
- is familiar with commonly used riding and trotting training methods

Various forms of horse riding and breeding, trotting and riding horses, riding school activities, recruitment of lesson horses

Feed production, feed quality and types of feed, local feed raw materials, mycotoxin risks and preventive measures
Feeding, feed state calculations
Horse care, daily care and the versatile tasks of the horse owner in addition to the practical care measures
