Content
Theory part (physics and mechanics as well as rational, sustainable and safe machine use)
Practical skill test / test in tractor handling
Practical tractor handling exercises at the Västankvarn farm
Practical farm work with emphasis on current field work at the Västankvarn farm
Workshop exercises at the Västankvarn farm including tractor service
Practically applied theory of tractor technology and field machines
Qualifications
No previous knowledge required
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Practical examination of tractor driving according to the instructions given by the responsible teacher
Written exam according to the specified instructions given by the responsible teacher and the course plan
Fulfilled practical exercises and filed work on the farm on an acceptable level according to the responsible supervisors point of view
Accepted participation on an active level according to the responsible teachers point of view
Materials
Theory part (physics, mechanics, sustainable and rational use of the on farm machinery)
Practical part (tractor driving and on farm field machinery, practical mechanical training, repair and service on tractors)

Further information
Because of no specific previous knowledge required in the course it´s necessary to introduce and start the course with a practical level examination and skill test in tractor driving and handling for all participants (students)
The result of the practical examination, in the beginning of the course, is an important base for further small group division and practical training
